Set The Scene, Create A Dream
During High Point Market, I realized that words were sometimes meaningless. Rug News andDesign posts over 600 pictures per year in Walking the Market – a visual representation of what we see at markets.
Brenda K. Denny, ASID, By Design Interiors, Houston TX, March 2013
What markets or design centers do you attend regularly? My favorite market is the High Point market, because it is where I can make the most of my time since there is more product there than any other market. I attend the Dallas market, because of the close proximity to Houston, and I love to [...]
Next Stop High Point Market
It’s spring and that means High Point market. Keep an eye out for me walking the market. I will be wearing green, Rug News andDesigns signature color. The Mothering Buyer at WMC
At each market, I am seeing more mothers working and parenting at the same time. World Market Center has the mothering room, wish they would promote it more. A buyer who has to be a parent at a trade show are here in both roles not by choice but because of reality. Support them.
Home Trend and Design at WMC
Beautiful reclaimed Indian architecture lovingly restored by the owners for their showroom. This much dedication and beauty is in all their products.
The Scene at The World Market
The 2013 World Market in Las Vegas is upbeat and lively. The parking lots are filling up. The shuttle buses are busy. 1st day out was busy. Buyers are buying and generally seem enthused. Something this gal has not seen in awhile.
